I'm currently working as a postdoctoral fellow. I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical & School Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Nebraska Mental Health Centers in Lincoln, Nebraska. At this site, I received an extensive generalist training in therapeutic practices and psychological assessments, addressing a wide array of psychopathologies and demographics. 

I provide therapy services from an integrative perspective, drawing primarily from Person-Centered, Attachment, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapies. This means our work together will prioritize creating a safe, empathetic space where your unique experiences are deeply understood and respected. We'll explore how early relationships and patterns might be influencing your present struggles and how to build more secure connections. Additionally, you'll learn practical skills to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, manage intense emotions and improve relationships, and cultivate mindfulness, acceptance, and a commitment to living in alignment with your values, even in the face of discomfort. My goal is to tailor our approach to your specific needs, empowering you with both insight and effective strategies for lasting change and a more fulfilling life. 

My significant experience in community mental health uniquely equips me to address anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, behavioral issues, parenting training, severe and persistent mental illness, and trauma across diverse child, adolescent, and adult populations. My background in the school setting further allows me to provide comprehensive wrap-around services for children and families. Last, I have done extensive research on minority stress, the impact it has on mental health in the LGBTQ+ community, and subsequent affirmative evidence-based treatments.
